About me

The band Aeklypsis was formed in 2008 in Athens, Greece. One year later the first songs were created and in order to reach a wider audience three of the tracks were recorded and released in the “Mirror of Darkness” EP. In March 2011 one more track was recorded and released in the single “Embracing the Waves”. Parallel to these events a number of concerts around Athens were made, thus acquiring a small but faithfull fanbase.
Our belief is that music should be groundbreaking and original, incorporating many styles and not just imitating successful acts. We write music bearing in mind what we would like to hear if we were just listeners, so our music stems from the heart.
