- Homo Sapiens is a thrash metal band from Athens (Greece) which was formed back in 2008 when Spyros (Guitar,Vocals) met Stefanos (drums), Kostas (bass) and Theo (guitar). It started as an old-school thrash band but since then it has developed its own style! After many line-up changes, the group now consists of Spyros, Thanasis (bass), Vaggelis (drums) and Adrian (guitar)! As of 2010 the band is a member of the Manifesto Movement. During the same year, the first demo was recorded at MIH studios. It is named after the song “Hypnosis” and includes 4 other songs! Currently, the band composes new material and will enter the studio in April to record its first full-length album!!
